Music
Through Gordon (is it all about Gordon again?) I've been looking at various life's work by various bands (yes, The Strokes at the top of the list of course - boring). For reasons that only my brain and its interconnected neurons can explain, I came across Nick Cave. What can you say, I find him to be someone absolutely overhyped. Trying to be Tom Waits/Leonard Cohen league, but not making it.
Movie
There's a new series on Apple Plus called Sugar. How appropriate, because you can definitely say that about cutie Colin Farrel. I like the style, it's a bit of a 60 vibe in Los Angeles but with modern mobile phones.
Book
This series reminds me of the book with the detective from the 60s in Los Angeles. Good book, good author. Herewith recommended.
Other Inspirations
ESC; ESC; ESC! (will be reviewed throughout the week, with Böhmi's and Lulu's comments of course.)

Music
The Libertines' life's work is now officially finished. Up the Backet is a good rock n roll album, my favorite is The Libertines. Thanks, Gordon (who wasn't too big a fan, if I've got that right?).
Movie
ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY ROCKY!
Book
Gordon now lives in London, no longer in New York.
Other Inspirations
Whether you say bocca or boules, this along with Aperol, Pizza, Good Friends by the Canal: 100 out of 15 stars.

Music
This wonderful Monday morning started with the marvellous, energetic, feel like a hero, Rocky soundtrack. Welcome back.
For the "last rays of sunshine with a glass of wine and Gordon" then the Black Lips album "Good Bad Nor Evil", which is a super Black Lips album, or rather the only Black Lips album I know. And because of the encounter. So THE encounter with the producer from Seattle and the singer from Russia (I didn't know she was from Russia): Soviet Kitsch.
Movie
Here's the thing: You remember the previous Bingen of Baby Reindeer and the hype: I mean #1 Netflix charts, nominations here, interviews there, all pretty big. There's someone close to me who has done a bit of research into the subject matter, which has raised questions.
Why is the psychologically broken woman, whose life is hard enough, the devil portrayed - and not the successful, rich rapist producer?
And why do we get the feeling that the mentally damaged main character is given anti-hero status? What exactly is so solemn about his course of events? Don't misunderstand, he's not the great hero who overcomes the stalker.
But he is the one who keeps the stalker alive - feeds the fire, so to speak, to keep it blazing.
Oh well. Otherwise, an episode of Shameless.
Book
Gordon records Regina Spektor songs and renovates a new vault/studio in his London home. And mentions Jason Hart. I almost worked with Jason once. Very cool.
Other Inspirations
Mixed feelings about Baby Reindeer, filled with happiness and blessings about May's career, happy about a contact exchange that surely happened. Good Monday.

Music
Rainbow Kitten Surprise has a new album. Terrible name - so terrible! But the music is quite nice. Then, due to the weather, my Summervibe playlist wich was created in 2020 and because of my favorite visit: Musicalhits, Hits, Hits.
Movie
Well, no time.
Book
It's called the Transporter Room. So the studio was sold for profit and greed and made Gordon move to London.
Other Inspirations
Hi F, I've got new shoes.
May 15
Happy Birthday, Daddy.
Music
The few hours of sleep are made up for with Jan and Oli's ESC comments. Super. Too much penis, Jan!
There is a playlist created for a specific person, which is traditionally played on 15 May. Good artists, lots of Beatles, lots of Joe Jackson, a bit of Abba, lots of Tom Waits and Leonhard Cohen, trash hits like Sweet Caroline AND I would do Anything for Love. That was a very nice moment.
Movie
The struggle is real. Own projects without money and producers are not easy. And it's a shame when you're so ambitious and have so much desire. I WANT TO MAKE MY FILM!
Book
Ohoh, Gordon and I are only 50 pages away from saying goodbye to each other.
Other Inspirations
Tempelhoferfeld is known to be a great place for many, many different things. Watching sunsets - for example. Körnerpark has a new establishment, which is wonderful. Gang? They drink wine there in summer!
16 May
Music
For sentimental reasons, we listened to the playlist again in the morning. Oh Gordon, it won't be easy without you and all the rock star stories from New York.
For cooking (whaat? You cook at work) the matching French flair Playlist (we made risotto).
Movie
Because of the Podcast preparation, you have to have seen the movie again.
Book
Bye Gordon, we will talk about you next week.
